Our drying facility

Our facility is located at Elmalı Kayseri Mahallesi, Elmalı Kayseri Küme Evleri, in the Kadirli district of Osmaniye. This is where bay leaves are received, dried, sieved, sorted and packed.

Process

Six steps from intake to dispatch

01 Intake Bay leaves arriving at the facility are received and given a first visual check.
02 Natural drying The leaves are dried naturally, in a way that preserves their colour and aroma.
03 Machine sieving The dried leaf passes through the sieving line, separating broken pieces and dust.
04 Sorting The leaves are spread out on the sorting belt and unsuitable ones are removed.
05 Packing The selected leaf is bagged, and the batch number, harvest year and production date are marked on the pack.
06 Final check Before dispatch the product is checked by hand one last time.
